First of all — a strong developer. Everything else in the bio only reinforces the habit of shipping hard things.
My name is Oleg Veglin — I am a developer. I build websites, services and apps that hold up under real business load: Yii2, Laravel and Symfony backends, React interfaces, WordPress for leads and content, Android and iOS for MVP and growth.
I take a job from idea to launch and then support. I can untangle legacy, build from scratch or strengthen what already runs in production. Direct work: no extra chain, clear ownership of the result.

Where the background comes from
Code is my main craft and primary tool. Backend, frontend, mobile, integrations — I own the outcome, not just a slice of the ticket.
Before and alongside that came a long road: polytechnic and dissertation work, plant designer/engineer, 3D at Channel One, my own photo and design studio, creative director for 200+ people, an indoor skatepark launch, a tattoo studio, contemporary art studies and work at PERMM, Sochi during the pandemic and a return to Perm, furniture production and mixed projects. Personal life shifted too — marriage and divorce.
That experience is not instead of engineering — it shapes how I think: whole-product view, teams and process, no fear of complexity, and a bias to ship. Movement is part of the same character: powerlifting, hockey, kite, surf, snowboard, skate; around town — bike, motorcycle or car. At home — a dog named Lea.
